Lyn faceshotI’ve been part of the Direct Sales profession for a LONG time! I joined my first company in 1975. My children were 3-years and 5-weeks old. I was painfully shy but I had a big WHY… I wanted to stay home with my kids and I wanted to get out and speak in full sentences once in a while. I was terrible in the beginning, but I was determined to succeed. And succeed I did – beyond my wildest dreams! I was a field leader for 15 years and a corporate executive with Party Plan companies for seven years. In 1997, I started my own company, A Fresh Perspective, Inc. I’ve been helping direct sales professionals achieve their vision of success for 15 years! In 2008, I authored my first book: Makeup Optional – Lessons I Learned Working From Home. My career has brought me great joy.

My greatest joy comes from my family. I’ve been married to Dan for more than 40 years. He is the kindest, most considerate man I know, and, after all these years, he still makes me laugh! We gave birth to two terrific kids – Danny and Katie – and they brought us two more wonderful “kids” – Stephen and Sarah. And they brought us three amazing grandchildren, Izabella, Leif and Wes.

My other great love is the ocean. I love to swim, snorkel and scuba dive. NOTHING relaxes me more than floating face down in warm water looking at fish and coral! Yes! That’s me too!

Dan and I are involved in our Church community, love to go to the theater, travel and entertain. I love to cook and take great joy in feeding people. (Can you see a common theme here?) I also love to dance and sing and find great relaxation gardening. I’m a life-long learner and read voraciously. I used to love to jog and play tennis. After two hip replacements, I’ve switched to Pilates and Yoga.
