Meet Kate Conway-Pickman, Life Coach and Customer Service Expert

I am blessed to be the daughter of motivated, inspirational, incredibly talented people, Lyn & Dan Conway.  It has shown me the power of having good examples in your life and great support.  I work to be that for the people I come in contact with daily.

I believe in people and love to notice their special offerings.  I know that a warm smile and sincere compliment can change the course of a person’s day.  Why hold it back if it enters your head?  I try not to.  Truly seeing people is my strength.

I am married to an incredible man and our first child, Leif Daniel, was born on March 15, 2011.  My husband, Stephen, loves to cook.  My favorite moments are sitting in the kitchen watching him create one of his masterful dishes, and then eating it.  We would be thinner if he wasn’t so skilled.

I live with a herd of animals, two dogs and three cats.  I just recently claimed my bed back from them, not sure how long that will last…

I have spent the last 20 years in the sales/customer service industry.  I am honored to now lead a team of sales and marketing consultants at LIN Media.  This experience has helped me become a certified life coach with a specialty in business and service coaching.  I love watching my clients experience successes they never imagined possible and I act as a cheerleader on the journey.

I am blessed to have traveled much of the world and lived in three countries.  Observing and interacting with other cultures is a passion of mine.

Favorite places: Spain, Ireland, Barbados & San Francisco

Favorite books: Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, and, often, the last book I’ve read.

Favorite plays: Jersey Boys & Les Misérables

Favorite movie: I LOVE movies, so for drama – American History X, comedy – Anchor Man, scary – Silence of the lambs, romantic – Like Water for Chocolate

Favorite food: Anything my husband cooks!
