Meet Barb Girson, Party Plan Expert

I began my direct sales career with Tupperware part-time while teaching full-time.  After a humble start, I progressed to #2 in the nation out of 10,000 independent managers and 80,000 consultants.  I led my multi-million dollar Tupperware business to the top 10% of franchises in North America by helping managers achieve national recognition in sales, recruiting and promoting leaders.

Ready for a new challenge, I joined the corporate arena working with direct selling companies such as The Body Shop At Home as National Sales Director, and Discovery Toys in North America as Director of Field Sales.

I have been responsible for up to $40 Mil in revenue and leading a field with as many as 500 leaders and 20,0000 consultants.

My source of energy and light comes from my family.  I have been married to Howie, my soul mate, for 30 years.  While building my career, we have been blessed with two daughters, Rayna and Robyn.  Today, they are grown young women – both strong willed and independent.  The biggest benefit to being a work at home mom is to see what they have learned by watching me deal with the ups and downs.  I enjoy the key roles as a mom, wife, aunt, daughter, friend and professional – which means life is full of choices, always!

Howie and I love to travel, entertain, go to movies, see live theater or comedy clubs.  Most of all, we love to laugh.  We have held fast to and advocate a weekly date night.  One of our favorite trips was to Europe – visiting London, Lisbon, Portugal, Barcelona, Spain, Paris, France and Brussels.

I am a lifelong learner and love to read.

Favorite Plays: Phantom of the Opera, Annie

Favorite Movie: Oh, so many!  The Pursuit of Happyness, The Bucket List, Slumdog Millionaire, and The Social Network to name just a few

Favorite Food: Middle Eastern, Seafood, Asian, Vegetarian, Indian .. virtually, most foods.  Least favorite, American!
